Ontario’s regulations state that workers who operate lifting devices must be ‘ompetent’. A competent person is defined as someone who is qualified because of his/her training, is familiar with health and safety laws and is knowledgable of the hazards of the work.

  • Training program provides classroom and hands-on knowledge they required to operate the vehicle competently
  • Based on CSA standard B335-15 Safety Standard for Lift Trucks
  • Successful trainees will receive a wallet card and/or wall certificate valid for three years from the date of completion

Aerial Work Platform Icon Aerial Work Platform (Scissor Lift / Man Lift)

  • Trains operators, whether new or experienced, in the principles of aerial platform work
  • Teaches the fundamentals of safe operating procedures, with the goal of reducing risks related to straight telescoping, articulating, and scissor lift aerial platforms
  • Successful participants will gain an understanding of the hazards associated with operating an elevated work platform
  • This course was developed to comply with the requirements for theory training as outlined in both CSA standards B354.2 and B354.4 as well as ANSI standards A92.5 and A92.6
  • Successful trainees will receive a wallet card and/or wall certificate valid for three years from the date of completion

  • Specifically developed for those who clean-up or work with bodily fluids, human waste, or mould (health care workers, crime scene clean-up, disaster remediation)
  • This course has been developed to ensure that your staff is fully aware of the hazards of working with or around bio-hazardous materials
  • Participants are instructed in the identification of, and proper handling and disposal of bio-hazardous materials
  • Includes consideration of safe procedures and correct equipment for those who are involved in housekeeping, janitorial, trauma clean-up, crime scene clean-up or mould removal and decontamination.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods Icon Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)

  • Provides participants with the knowledge to properly prepare, transport and receive transported dangerous goods
  • TDG Regulations prescribe safety standards, shipping requirements, and a means of communicating the nature and level of danger associated with chemicals in transport
  • TDG Clear Language Regulations came into effect on August 15, 2002 and applies to all modes of transport (i.e. road, rail, marine and air) in Canada
  • Successful learners will receive a certificate valid for 36 months from date of completion
